Chris is keen to be a strong voice for the Southside in the Legislative Assembly. Chris and his family proudly live in Kambah, though he grew up in Woden, playing for Woden Valley Soccer Club and attending local public schools, Torrens Primary, Melrose High School and Narrabundah College. He studied law at the Australian National University and remains a keen soccer player.
Chris has worked for the ACT and Federal Governments as a policy adviser on education, early childhood, community services and youth policy. He has worked in the union movement on legal industrial policy issues for the Australian Federal Police Association. Most recently he has worked in the community sector advocating for the rights of young children.
Chris currently volunteers as a Director on the Board of YMCA Canberra. He is an advocate for improving access to educational opportunities for Canberra children, and ensuring that the ACT is an inclusive community, particularly for vulnerable Canberrans. He would like to amplify his advocacy on these issues in the Assembly.
