With only 18 months left until the ACT election, continuous campaigning is a must for the Party, and these festivals are two major opportunities for the Party as a whole to interact with the community.  Last year’s festivals saw record levels of community engagement with thousands of balloons and hundreds of flyers handed out. The Liberals and Greens Party also participate in these festivals.
