The Voice to Parliament

In 2017, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people gathered together in one of the largest and most representative forums of Australia's First Peoples to deliver the Uluru Statement from the Heart.

ACT Labor has supported all elements of the Uluru Statement - Voice, Treaty and Truth - since it was delivered. And later this year, the Australian people will go to a referendum to enshrine an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice in our Constitution.

We have an ambition to see the ACT deliver the highest Yes vote in the country - and we need your help to do it.

Will you pledge your support for an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice to Parliament that will:

  1. Recognise First Nations Peoples in our Constitution, and
  2. Consult with them on the laws and policies that affect them, making a real difference to the lives of First Nations People.
