Labor will continue providing an $800 energy bill rebate to households doing it tough.
It'll help around 44,000 households - that's one in five households across the territory.
It’s real energy relief, right now - and we'll deliver it every year.
And it's in addition to $300 for every household from Federal Labor.

Household Bill Relief For Canberra families
Every day costs are rising, and the fuel crisis is having a serious impact on peoples budgets.
Labor has halved the fare cap on bus and light rail services to save Canberrans money.
Until 30 June, no one pays more than $68 a month.
For students and concession card holders it’s even less.
The more you use public transport the more you will save.
It’s one part of our plan to help Canberrans with the cost-of-living.

Making transport cheaper
For every commuter
We're already supporting local trainees and apprentices with a $250 payment right now.
Andwe'll double it next year, providing another $250 payment to support them even more.
Because we know when you're studying a trade, it's hard to earn enough to live on.
And we want to make sure Canberrans can getthe skills they need, for the jobs they want - without costs being a barrier.

Labor will incentivise local GPs tobulk bill more Canberrans, more often.
With a new $11 million fund, we'll financially support new bulk billing practices to open, while helping existing bulk billing practices to expand.
At the same time, we'll focus onincreasing bulk billing rates for children across our city.
It's all about helping families with the cost of living, while making sure every kid in Canberra can get the care they need, close to home.

No student should have to miss out on a school camp because of the cost.
And no parent should have to choose between paying for a camp or paying the bills.
That’s whyLabor will cover the cost for every student at public primary schools to go on camp to Birrigai.
It'll mean no kid in Canberra misses out, and every kid gets a great education.

We know it's hard to save up for a deposit.
So we're making it easier for Canberrans by cutting stamp duty.
It'll mean if you're a first home buyer, pensioner or you're purchasing off-the-plan - you won't pay a cent on stamp duty.
It's all part of Labor's plan to make housing more affordable.
