Labor’s network of nurse-led Walk-in Centres offer free healthcare for illnesses and injuries – every day of the year.

With over 50,000 presentations in the first six months of 2023, we know Canberrans love them. And they’ve told us they want to see even more services at their local Walk-in Centre.

So that’s what we’re delivering.

By hiring more nurses and delivering more health services, Canberrans will get the health care they need, at the right place and at the right time.

And under Labor, Walk-in Centres will always be free – you’ll never have to pay a cent.

We know the Liberals wanted to scrap Walk-in Centres when Labor first built them – and we know whenever the Liberals get the chance, the first thing they cut is health.
